The extent to which processes are controlled is an important metric for a company's output. In order to ensure that structural improvement of processes is continuous, a quality policy and quality management system, based on the standards of ISO 9001:2008, has been set up within IHC Piping B.V.
The quality management system is documented in an company manual. Procedures and documents that are regarded as essential to anchor the policies, and to ensure that the work wil be carried out in the correct manner and with the required quality level - including dimension tolerances, traceability of the materials used and the welding work carried out - are set out in this book. This meets the customer's justifiable expectations, wishes and requirements.
All processes and working methods are laid down in a structure whereby it is clear for each person involved what happens within IHC Piping, from tender to completion. Tasks, authorities and responsibilities - from the Board to the pipefitter - are made clear here for every colleague.
The quality management system is also reviewed regularly by means of internal audits, to check that the customer's expectations can still be met.
