Pipes are manufactured in a fully automated pipeline construction.
- The pipes are taken from the pipe silo, which can accommodate more than 20 different diameters, via the grit installation, over the roller conveyor belts to the bandsaw ... read more
- The pipes are cut to length using a numerically-controlled measuring unit.
Waste is kept to a minimum by using a nesting system to prioritise the most favourable order of cutting. - Once cut to length, the pipes are automatically labelled with the customer’s identification number.
- Pipes due to have flanges fitted are sent via the lift to the numerically-controlled flange welding machine, which welds the flanges to the pipes automatically, taking into account the direction of rotation in the bolthole.
- Pipes that have to be bent are sent on their way, using a lift, to a sorter mechanism consisting of 2 floors, which buffers the jobs according to the order of work planned for the bending machines.
- A transport wagon between the bending machines receives the pipes from the buffer and transports them to the clamping system, forming part of the numerically-controlled bending machines.
- Pipes awaiting further processing after being bent are sent to the composing tables, where skilled workers carry out the finishing touches required to translate your sketch of the piping into a quality product. They use the following tools to do so... read more
